A history of indie rock icons: Shai Micaiah


Originally formed in the sub-basement of their neighborhood library in Eugene, OR, Shai Micaiah climbed to the top of the the indie rock scene in 1985 with their debut album, color outside the lines. The band's latest album, color inside the lines, layers Avishai's art-house lyrical stylings with lo-fi guitars to produce another collection of retro-inspired rave-ups. With standout tracks like "dare fuck truth fuck please," look for Shai Micaiah to be a major force in the indie rock landscape for years to come.
